Case Study-Adecco

The Customer:

A Fortune Global 500 company, the largest Human Resources provider and temporary staffing business in the world with turnover in excess of €23 billion. Based in Zurich, they tender across private and public sector work, undertaking the recruitment of temporary staff across a variety of situations and programmes.

The Challenge:

Commissioned to support them responding to a series of public sector tenders from as large as the £6 billion tender to the most complex, the 2021 Census – a multimillion-pound tender to provide 45,000 people to deliver the 2021 Census.

Our Approach:

Augmentas prepared the strategy through a strategic lead who had previously operated in the Census environment. We provided two technical authors and two specialists in project planning and financial management as well as accounting for payroll. We created and prepared the full documentation ready for submission, working with the client team. This was a nine-month contract and Augmentas offered a fixed price to deliver the tender, leaving a 30% win bonus, paid if Adecco were successful.

  • The quality of our solution along with our understanding of the requirements ensured Adecco was successful in securing the contract.
  • Using our knowledge and experience of how it would be evaluated by Public sector experts and technical experts, we were able to successfully articulate the requirements and value of the proposition.
  • Following contract award, we were able to provide a team of experts across various departments including training, HR, diversity, project planning, programme management, project management and technical authoring across all of the technical documents they need to put forward.
  • We were able to provide the support and capability on demand that Adecco required when trying to recruit specialists in-house, often within hours or days of requesting them.
  • Augmentas teams were established, briefed and onboarded to support critical areas of the Adecco team.
  • Following the success of this project, we are considered a critical and safe partner, and continue to work with Adecco.
